PRIME RIB DINNER A SUCCESS

Roast Beef Dinner

The Prime Rib Dinner fundraiser at The Clarksville Enrichment Complex was a huge success. Bill Baker, Franklin Dover and their large crew from Lake Country Virginia Realty served up nearly 400 meals and the complex netted $3,000 from the proceeds from tickets sold. The guests were also treated to wine tasting by Rosemont Winery from LaCrosse and music throughout the evening by Paul Kosiba and his band "One More Time". Everyone donated their time and talents to support the efforts of The Complex.

WELCOME

The Board of the Lake County Enrichment Complex welcomes you to our Complex. The Center is now completed after 6 years of planning and will have the grand opening on May 29, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.. The Complex will host:

1. The Verizon Learning Center
2. A Workforce Training Center
3. The Mecklenburg County YMCA (Clarksville Branch)
4. A Wellness Center with Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
5. Before and After School Care (Lake Country Kids Center)
6. The JH Yancey Soccer Complex
7. Gymnasium with Indoor Track*
8. Indoor Pool*
* These last two are to be included in the second phase of construction.

The benefits to the Clarksville community are:

1. Critical outreach to our community
2. Handicapped accessible health and fitness program
3. Educational services
4. Recreational services
5. Soccer complexes (currently the only ones in Mecklenburg County)
6. Workforce Training classes
